Uncle Joe’s Peer Counseling serves WashU undergraduate students in St. Louis. Counselors, a.k.a. Joes, are available by phone and in person during semesters.

- Are confidential: members of Uncle Joe’s will not disclose any information about a student’s identity or situation UNLESS the student is a danger to themself or others.
- Are here to listen and there’s no issue too small to talk about
- Are trained on a range of issues that members of our community may face:
- Grief
- Mental health
- Adjustment
- Eating disorders
- Identity
- Sexual health
- Relationship concerns
- Addiction
- Self harm
- And more
