The WashU Health and Well-being Committee was established in 2014 with a mission to utilize and coordinate university-wide resources that encourage inclusive care and dialogue, focusing on programming and outreach efforts that support and enhance the long-term emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual health of Washington University community members.

Due to COVID-19, the committee stopped meeting in 2020.

The Health and Well-being Steering Committee, established by Anna “Dr. G” Gonzalez in 2024, will guide the work of the new WashU Health and Well-being Committee starting in fall 2024. This committee, made up of faculty, staff, and students, will work to cultivate a campus culture of well-being so that students leave WashU healthier than when they arrived.
