Assessment tools

The American College Health Association- National College Health Assessment (ACHA-NCHA)

The ACHA-NCHA is a nationally recognized research survey that collects data about students’ health habits, behaviors, and perceptions on a wide range of  issues that impact them and affect their academic performance. We administer it to undergraduate and graduate students every four years.

The Missouri Assessment of College Health Behaviors (MACHB)

The MACHB is a survey designed to understand the role of alcohol, drugs (illegal and prescription), mental health issues, and power-based personal violence on student health and well-being. Missouri Partners in Prevention (PIP) is a higher education substance abuse consortium dedicated to creating healthy and safe college campuses. WashU is a member of the PIP Coalition and administers the MACHB annually to undergraduate and graduate students  in partnership with PIP.
